We as artists have an incredible power to affect real change

but for those us with certain levels of privilege, it’s of the utmost importance that

we always own our role in past micro-or macro-aggressions towards those whose communities and demographics

that are underrepresented and underserved. It is our responsibility within each show and company

to strive to be more equitable, inclusive, and push to be better within all departments.

What kind of story do you wish to tell?

I've become obsessed with human growth and resiliency.

How one works through and deals with adversity is captivating.

Suffering is, unfortunately, an inevitable part of the human experience. But the way in which we live through that is fascinating. That resilience, that hope that is born out of hurt is what I'm drawn to.

In other words, fearlessly sharing truth.
